The realme GT7 Pro 42 is now official, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Plus, it features the world’s first underwater photography mode via its IP69 and IP68 water resistance rating.
The device sports a 6.78-inch Samsung Eco2 OLED Plus display, said to be the industry’s lowest power consuming panel. It also has one of the market’s brightest displays, peaking at 6,000 nits.
Optics are led by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 main camera with OIS. This is followed by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 telephoto camera and an 8-megapixel Sony IMX 355 ultra wide sensor. At the front, it has a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
The phone will run on realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. It offers a number of AI features like Sketch to Image, Motion Deblur, and AI Snap Mode. It also packs a massive 6,500mAh battery with support for 120W of SUPERVOOC charging via USB Type-C.
The realme GT7 Pro will come in Mars Orange and Galaxy Grey. While there is also a White color option, it will remain exclusive to China. The Chinese model of the device has five different storage configurations, starting at CNY 3,599 (~PHP 30K) with 12GB/256GB.
International availability has yet to be announced, but details will come later this month. We’ll update readers with its price in the Philippines once we have more information.
