Realme is reportedly working on a new feature for its upcoming C-series smartphone that will resemble Apple’s Dynamic Island.
The feature, dubbed as ‘Mini Capsule’, will show a pill-shaped widget on the screen that can display various alerts and shortcuts.
Seems a weird bug occurred in the Matrix and caused a spacetime flaw that kinda disrupted my last trip to the future…😵💫
So, one more round-trip later, here comes your first look at #Realme‘s #MiniCapsule in action…😏

In a leaked video from OnLeaks and SmartPrix, the Mini Capsule shows animated status on the front camera cutout such as the battery level and charging.
The video didn’t show much further though, so the question remains whether this is a fully functional Dynamic Island ripoff.
Realme vice president Madhav Sheth also tweeted a photo of the Mini Capsule, but he deleted it shortly.
Some reports suggest that the feature could debut on the realme C55—an entry-level smartphone with 5G support—at the Mobile World Congress 2023.
Realme is not the first Android manufacturer to try to emulate Apple’s Dynamic Island.
Huawei was also rumored to be working on a similar feature for its upcoming phones. However, realme might beat Huawei in bringing similar Dynamic Island feature earlier to the market.
We have to hear from realme themselves whether these claims are true. Stay tuned for updates!
