realme P2 Pro arrives in India

The realme P2 Pro has arrived in India as the latest addition to their P-series lineup. Highlighted features include a curved OLED screen, Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip, and its 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 sensor.

In detail, the phone has a 6.7-inch curved OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and has a peak brightness of 2,000 nits.

In addition, the phone has an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. It even has a shock-absorbent frame for added drop protection. It has Parrot Green and Eagle Grey color options with a BioVision design that changes upon exposure to light.

Powering the P2 Pro is a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. It comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage as well. Plus, it has a 4,500mm2 vapor chamber to keep the device cooled.

For cameras, the phone has a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 main sensor with OIS. It’s paired with an 8-megapixel ultra wide as well. At the front, users will get a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

The phone runs on realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 out of the box. It will come with two (2) OS updates and three (3) years of security patches.

Rounding out the specs is a 5,200mAh battery with 80W of SUPERVOOC charging support. realme notes that it can charge up to 50% of power in 19 minutes.

The realme P2 Pro retails at INR 21,999PHP 15,228USD 260EUR 247CNY 1,889 (~PHP 15K) with 8GB/128GB. There’s also a 12GB/256GB variant for INR 24,999PHP 17,304USD 295EUR 281CNY 2,147 (~PHP 17K).

The highest configuration option with 12GB/512GB is priced at INR 27,999PHP 19,381USD 330EUR 315CNY 2,405 (~PHP 19K). Sales will begin on September 17th in India, and we’ll update readers should this be available in the Philippines.
