Xiaomi has recently released the Redmi Note 12 series in the Philippines, as well as the Redmi 12C and now, new reports claim that the vanilla Redmi 12 is also coming along soon.
The Redmi 12 (with two variants 23053RN02L and 23053RN02Y) is spotted on US FCC, EEC and IMEI databases which revealed that some of its key parameters.
Including 4G connectivity, MIUI 14 although there’s no mention of what specific Android version it is based upon.
The certification also indicated a charging adapter with the model number MDY-12-EA which is said to support 33 watts of fast charging.
Basing on previous iterations, the Redmi 12 is expected to have a 5,000mAh battery.
Unfortunately, other features are not mentioned. We’ll surely get more details in the coming weeks.
For comparison though, the Redmi 12C—which is a lower variant of the C-series line—sports a 6.71-inch HD+ IPS display, MediaTek Helio G85, up to 6GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage, and 50MP dual main cameras starting at PHP 5,499 (3GB + 32GB).
