The Redmi A4 5G has been unveiled at the Indian Mobile Congress (IMC) 2024. It’s the first device to be equipped with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 4s Gen 2.
The new 4nm-based chipset is designed to power entry-level 5G smartphones. It has two performance cores that clock up to 2GHz and six efficiency cores that cap at 1.8GHz.
The chipset supports LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.1. This is a developing story, so other specifications have yet to be announced.
However, it’s expected to have a FHD+ LCD panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Similar to the Redmi 14R and Redmi 14C 15, it has a large circular camera island as well.
As per Xiaomi India, the Redmi A4 5G will be priced under INR 10,000 (~PHP 6,800). We’ve yet to find out whether or not this device will be made available in the Philippines.
