The Redmi K70 Extreme has been launched, offering a ton of great specs for display, chipset, and battery.

The phone has a 6.67-inch OLED panel with a refresh rate of 144Hz. It offers a 2.8K resolution and up to 4,000 nits of peak brightness. The display is also HDR10+ and Dolby Vision certified.

Powering the K70 Extreme is a Dimensity 9300+, which stands as one of MediaTek’s most efficient chipsets. Storage configurations can go up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

Further, the phone is also equipped with a special D1 discrete graphics chip. Its 12nm display processor can do up to 3x interpolation up to 1.2K resolution to enable high frame rates.

Xiaomi even claims that the chip can reduce power consumption up to 15% when gaming. In addition, hardware is cooled by a special 3D vapor chamber that reduces temperature by 3 degrees.

For optics, the phone has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 main camera. This is complemented by an 8-megapixel ultrawide and a 2-megapixel macro lens. At the front, users will get a 20-megapixel shooter for selfies.

The Redmi K70 Extreme packs a 5,500mAh battery with 120W of wired fast charging support as well. It’s supported by Xiaomi’s G1 and P2 chips to oversee the device’s battery health while regulating its charging.

The phone comes in Black, Blue, and White for standard color options. However, it also comes in Championship Edition models with Lamborghini branding that come in Orange and Green.
