Redmi Note 9, 9 Pro key specs surface online

A day before its official launch in India, the key specs of the Redmi Note 9 series has surfaced online.

The chipset and RAM configurations of both the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro has been posted on the Geekbench browser. According to the listing, the Redmi Note 9 will come with an ARM MT6769V processor, also known as the MediaTek Helio G70 and 6GB of RAM. The Redmi Note 9 Pro, on the other hand, will come with a Snapdragon 720G chipset and 8GB of RAM.

Additionally, known tipster Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24 on Twitter) has posted additional specs of the Redmi Note 9 Pro. According to his tweet, the Redmi Note 9 Pro will come with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ LCD with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Redmi will also be releasing two variants: a 4GB + 64GB variant and a 6GB + 128GB variant. Camera-wise, the quad rear-camera is reported to consist of a 48MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, 5MP Macro, and Depth camera. Powering the device is a 5,020mAh battery with 18W charging support.
