The Tello, a budget drone that was made possible by Chinese startup Ryze Technology, in partnership with DJI and Intel, has made its way to the Philippines.
The Ryze Tello is by no means meant to be a drone with excellent photographic capabilities but is instead focused on being accessible, educational, and fun to use. It’s built with DJI components, has an Intel processor, and is actually user-programmable using Scratch, or even the Tello SDK.
The Ryze Tello is available at Villman for Php6,000 (listing here), which is not that far off the $99 price tag in the US.
