Samsung introduced their latest NVMe SSD, the 970 EVO Plus, with four storage variants (250GB, 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB).
The 970 EVO Plus comes in an M.2 form factor and uses PCIe Gen3 x4 interface. It is powered by Samsung’s V-NAND chips with optimized firmware and features a reading speed of up to 3,500 MB/s and writing speed of 3,000 MB/s. It also comes with a random reading speed of up to 620,000 IOPS and up to 560,000 IOPS for writing.
