Along with the new Galaxy Book2 Pro and Book2 Pro 360, Samsung has unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Business, built on the vPro platform and packed with security and productivity features for the hybrid working environment.
The Galaxy Book2 Business boasts Samsung’s defense-grade security technology, Intel Hardware Shield Technology, and secure embedded processor to protect BIOS. It is also equipped with Tamper Alert function that detects and tracks malicious attempts to interfere with security-critical data and stop PC attacks before the operating system is infiltrated.
In addition, it can stop attempts to compromise its system by establishing a Hardware-based Root of Trust, which validates BIOS and builds a dependable trust chain between the CPU, secure embedded processor and SPI flash. When it becomes a target of an attack, valuable data is secured with BIOS auto-recovery, which can detect threats during the PC’s boot process and automatically restore the BIOS to a backup copy before corruption strikes.
Other features include Microsoft Secured-Core PC (SCPC), Samsung Account Single Sign-On, blockchain-based Private Share, SmartThings Find, Link to Windows, and updated Quick Share feature merged with Link Sharing.
