Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy F06 5G in India, positioning it as the company’s most affordable 5G smartphone to date. The device shares several specifications with the Galaxy A06, with a notable difference in the chipset. The Galaxy F06 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, ensuring comprehensive 5G support across India’s twelve 5G bands.
The smartphone features a 6.7-inch PLS LCD display with an HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. For photography, it boasts a dual-camera setup on the rear, comprising a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor, both housed under a unified glass design. On the front, there’s an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. The Galaxy F06 5G is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 25W wired charging. It runs on Android 14 with Samsung’s One UI on top, and the company has committed to providing four major OS updates and four years of security patches for the device.
Available in Bahama Blue and Lit Violet color options, the Galaxy F06 5G comes in two configurations: 4GB RAM with 128GB storage, priced at an introductory INR 9,499PHP 6,310USD 109EUR 105CNY 794 (approximately PHP 6,500USD 111INR 9,640EUR 107CNY 811), and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, priced at INR 10,999PHP 7,307USD 126EUR 122CNY 919 (around PHP 7,500USD 128INR 11,123EUR 124CNY 935). Both variants will be available for open sale starting February 20 through Samsung India and partnering retailers.
