No HDR10+?
Vullshitery says:
samsung philippines is a joke. Getting a 4g / exynos chipset for the price of a 5g / SD variant? LOL complete bullshit
Justine says:
Compared to the other countries, we get the worst value both in pre-order, and the pricing.
Bruh says:
Meh
Rice.Guardian says:
Dissapointing.
I second the BS says:
First of all, that is ridiculously overpriced from the starting $599 for a 4g variant, samsung don’t tell me your planning to price this like the iPhone 11, second no 5g for that price?, third, why the heck are you locking a color variant that is very popular to our local consumers to a carrier, this is unbelievably ridiculous, “Fan Edition” DON’T MAKE ME LAUGH, this should’ve been called “S20 SE” “Scam Edition” instead.
kramark says:
I agree, BS. It’s such a shame Samsung PH won’t launch the SD865 version here. Same as you, the 5G feature isn’t really the selling point (as the Philippines barely has 5G connectivity yet) but the significantly superior performance of the Snapdragon chip, compared with the Exynos 990.
Austin says:
I keep on checking the website of Samsung. AT FIRST it was mentioned 5G and Snapdragon. So, i told myself. Finally the chipset that i want and 5G, I will buy it. Then I ask the sales associate via chat and they mentioned they dont know. And after a few days, i saw this post. There is no 5G and snapdragon then its a NO for me. Exynos is not a good chipset. Bad Battery life. Its only good for a year. My S8 with Snapdragon still works amazing. When I upgraded to S10, it is only good for one year. Battery life is no longer good even. I’m sick of it. I hope LG and SONY would be back in the Philippines. I might just order overseas for a Sony or Lg Phone with Snapdragon Chipset and 5G
enrico says:
no 5G?
BS says:
This is just pure BS on Samsung’s end. Pricing in the Philippines is based on 5G yet we get the 4G pnly variant. Its not the connectivity that sucks, its the chipset.
