Samsung Galaxy S21 series camera specs surfaced online

The camera specs leak of Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone for this year, the Galaxy S21 5G series, has recently surfaced online.

According to Evan Blass’s post on the Voice, the Samsung Galaxy S21 5G and the S21 Plus sport a rectangular rear camera module with triple lenses. These lenses are composed of a 12MP f2.2 ultra-wide, 12MP f1.8 main, and 64MP f2.0 telephoto. For the front camera, it has a single 10MP f2.2 front camera.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G has a higher resolution front camera at 40MP f2.2 camera. It has more sensors for its back cameras and has a thicker rectangular camera module. Its quad-camera lenses are composed of a 12MP f2.2 ultra-wide, 108MP f1.8 main, 10MP f4.9 telephoto, and another 10MP telephoto lens with a lower aperture at f2.4.

The launch of the Galaxy S21 series is yet to be announced. However, it is most likely that Samsung may reveal it o during its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked 2021 event on January 14, 2021, at 10 AM (EST). It is expected to occur in the Philippines on the same date at 11 PM.
