Samsung has announced a new addition to its latest lineup, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE. The new model exudes a design language that aligns with its siblings in the Galaxy S23 Series.
Up front is a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display paired with adaptive 60–120Hz refresh rate. There’s a hole punch notch housing its 10-megapixel selfie shooter.
Its rear houses a triple camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel main lens, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
As for the phone’s chipset, Samsung has remained tight-lipped, teasing only the presence of “Advanced 4nm processing.” The chipset in question, presumably will be region-dependent and is likely to be available in either the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 or the Exynos 2200 variants.
Despite its larger size compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy S21 FE, the new model maintains the same battery capacity of 4,500mAh. It also retains 25W of wired charging, allowing for a 0-50% charge in just 30 minutes.
Software-wise, it runs Android 13 out of the box. It is also set to have four major OS updates and five years of security patches.
In addition, it boasts an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance for added protection.
