Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra vs. Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max drop test results

The world of tech enthusiasts remains divided over the relevance and responsibility of drop tests.

While many argue that they are a wasteful exercise and distressing for the phones, there’s no denying the allure of these videos for a large viewership, offering a mixture of suspense and shock value.

In this drop test spectacle the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is pitted against its fierce rival, the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max.

In what some are calling the pinnacle of drop test videos, both these tech titans didn’t fare too well.

In a dramatic turn of events, both the Galaxy S23 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max saw their front and rear glass shatter upon the first drop. The aftermath of the drop was starkly different for the two contenders.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra seemed to hold its ground post the initial damage, suffering only minor additional wear and tear. On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro Max appeared to deteriorate at a significantly faster rate.

The video in its entirety is bound to leave the audience on the edge of their seats, especially those who have a stake in either of these phones. But it also raises an essential question: do these tests, in all their visual glory, offer any real, actionable insight, or are they merely a manifestation of our curiosity for how fragile our most prized possessions really are?

While opinions on the utility of drop tests remain divided, the universal consensus seems to be that they are, without a doubt, captivating content.

Whether you’re Team Samsung or Team Apple, watching these premium devices take a tumble is nothing short of a rollercoaster ride.
