There’s a new budget Samsung smartphone on the market, and it’s the Galaxy M14 5G. The Galaxy M14 5G quietly made its debut in Ukraine. In terms of specs and design, it looks similar to the Galaxy A14 5G which was launched earlier this year.
As for specs, the Samsung Galaxy M14 5G features a 6.6-inch PLS LCD panel with Full HD+ (1080 x 2408) resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Like the A14, the screen features a teardrop design for the front camera housing which uses a 13MP lens. Meanwhile, the rear camera is highlighted by a 50MP main lens supported by a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth lens. As for the video, it records at a maximum of 1080P@30FPS.
Powering the M14 5G is Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1330 chipset. It comes standard with 4GB and a choice of either 64GB or 128GB internal storage. However, storage can be expanded by up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. Software-wise, the Samsung M14 runs One UI 5 which is based on Android 13.
One of the highlights of the M14 5G is the battery with a 6,000mAh capacity. For reference, the A14 5G only has a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging. Other noteworthy features on the M14 5G include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, and Bluetooth 5.2.
The Samsung M14 5G starts at UAH 8,299 (~PHP 14,000) for the 4GB+64GB variant and UAH 8,999 (~PHP 13450) for the 4GB+128GB variant. There’s no word yet whether the M14 5G will be available in the Philippines, but we will keep an eye out.
