Samsung’s next iteration of its custom Android skin, One UI 7, has not had a great start. It had numerous delays already pushing back the stable release to as late as early 2025.
Its beta testing has kicked off for a while now, but a prominent tipster has shared a serious reality check, “…There are too many bugs.”
While Samsung aims to significantly overhaul One UI 7, especially in terms of animations, these changes are likely to introduce a host of bugs and performance issues.
The tipster warns of numerous animation-related glitches, particularly in recent internal test builds.
This isn’t entirely unexpected for a beta release, but the severity of the issues suggests a challenging first iteration. However, Samsung’s track record of refining its software, especially in recent years, offers hope for a smoother final product.
