Samsung has just released an all-new interpretation of the “Over the Horizon” track for 2022, produced by SUGA of BTS.
‘Over the Horizon’ is a track that came with Galaxy devices and debuted in 2011 with the Galaxy S2. Samsung has then collaborated with several artists to reimagine its musical theme over the years.
For 2022, Samsung worked with SUGA to remix the song twice, as well as produce a tune for the new editions of Galaxy foldables.
“SUGA’s goal when working on the ‘Over the Horizon 2022 Produced by SUGA of BTS’ was to encourage people to look forward to a bright future and think about what excitement is waiting ‘over the horizon.’ Subsequently, the new remix is all about positivity and brightness, and was composed so that when people hear it, they feel hopeful and upbeat,” Samsung said in a press release.
“From its origins as a rock-themed ringtone, the updated versions have put a variety of unique spins on the original theme, including new age, orchestral pop, fusion jazz and even a Nordic orchestra inspired spin. Much like the Galaxy ecosystem, “Over the Horizon” is constantly being updated to reflect what is happening in the world, and the partnerships forged with artists invited to remix the theme reflect the spirit of openness and collaboration that underline the Galaxy philosophy.”
‘Over the Horizon 2022 Produced by SUGA of BTS’ will be available as a ringtone through an upcoming software update on Galaxy devices.
