Along with the launch of Samsung’s latest flagship Galaxy S21 series, the company also unveils two new S Pens, including the S Pen Pro.
According to Samsung, the new Galaxy S21 Ultra comes with Wacom Technology support, making it compatible with the new S Pens.
The new S Pen comes larger in all dimensions compared to the previous ones. Since it comes larger, this no longer needs to fit inside a smartphone but rather can be attached to various cases. The standard S Pen has a pen tip of 0.7mm and a 4,096 pressure sensor level.
On the other hand, the even larger S Pen Pro supports Bluetooth features, including air gestures, and enables users to control the music player and presentations remotely. This Pro model is also compatible with S Pen-supported Galaxy devices such as Galaxy Note 10 and 20 series and Galaxy Tab S6 and S7 series with One UI 3.1 and above.
Samsung has also announced working with various industry-leading pen companies to design S Pen and S Pen Pro models, including Uni Mitsubishi Pencil, Staedtler, Wacom, and Lamy.
The new S Pen is now available for USD 39.99, while the S Pen Pro is expected to arrive later this 2021. There’s no word yet about its pricing, so stay tuned!
