Alongside the newest Galaxy S24 Series, Samsung teased its next wearable—the Samsung Galaxy Ring. It is a smart ring designed with ‘cutting-edge’ health tracking innovations as what Samsung claims it to be.
Naturally, this new form-factor will make use of the improved Samsung Health—with plenty of health-related features, supercharged with Galaxy AI.
“We’ve created a powerful and accessible health and wellness device, here to change the shape of future health like only Samsung can,” keynote speaker Dr. Matthew Wiggins said moments before the Galaxy Ring teaser.
As seen from the teaser, the Galaxy Ring will have four tiny contact points, most likely for temperature or blood-oxygen sensors. There are slightly protruding sensors from the inner circle as well.
This is Samsung’s “one-more-thing” announcement as they revealed it only at the end of its Galaxy Unpacked in California.
For now, though, Samsung has not elaborated yet on the Galaxy Ring’s specifications nor its price and availability details.
