Seagate has just launched the Backup Plus Ultra Touch in the Philippines. It has also brought in updated models of the Backup Plus Slim and Backup Plus Portable storage devices.
The Backup Plus Ultra Touch features a woven fabric texture, with storage capacities of up to 2TB. It’s compatible with USB-C, USB 2.0, and USB 3.0, and also works on both Mac and Windows out of the box. It also automatic backup with multi-device folder sync, password protection, and 256-AES hardware encryption.
As for the Backup Plus Slim, it has a textured metallic finish and is available in Black, Light Blue, and Silver. It holds storage capacity of up to 2TB, compatible with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0, and also works with both Windows and Mac. Last but not least, the Backup Plus Portable Drives offers storage options of up to 5TB, and USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 connectivity. The Portable Drives are formatted for Windows computers but users may install the NTFS driver for Mac computers to use the drive between the two operating systems. Backup Plus Portable Drives are available in the colors of Black, Silver, and Light Blue.
All Backup Plus Ultra Touch, Backup Plus Slim, and Backup Plus Portable Drive storage devices come with a complimentary 2-month Adobe Creative Cloud Photography plan.
Seagate has yet to announce the local pricing of the devices and when exactly it will be available for purchase in the local market.
