Sennheiser has announced its new True Wireless Stereo earbuds with adaptive noise cancellation (ANC), the MOMENTUM True Wireless 3.
The MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 features a new design compared to the True Wireless 2. It’s now squarish which Sennheiser says it’s a futuristic ergonomic design that enables a long-lasting comfortable fit. It comes with several silicone pads in different sizes and is IPX4-certified splash-resistant. It comes in black, white, and graphite.
Inside the True Wireless 3 are dynamic 7mm drivers manufactured in Germany. The company says that it can produce an immersive stereo sound with deep bass, natural mids, and detailed highs. It also has a new Sound Personalization feature that provides an enhanced sound experience via a guided listening test to set up the right sound for each user’s individual hearing. There’s a Smart Control App that offers a choice of presets and an equalizer feature.
As for the ANC feature, it automatically adjusts noise cancellation based on the environment. The system continuously observes ambient noise to suppress it in real-time. Users who want to be aware of their surroundings to hear things such as train announcements, for example, can deactivate the noise cancellation at the touch of a button, or switch to transparency mode.
Other features include support for AAC, SBC, and aptX Adaptive codecs, three microphones, touch controls, and up to seven hours of playback which can be extended to 28 hours using the case that supports wireless charging.
The Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 can be pre-ordered today and will be available on May 10 for CAD 329.95.
