Smart offers Unli 5G Data promo in select areas

Smart has recently revealed its Unli 5G Data promo offer for its prepaid users.

Smart’s latest Unli 5G Data promo allows users to subscribe for either 7 or 30 days of unlimited 5G data. Check out the offers below.

• 7 Days Unli 5G (3GB non-5G) – PHP 299
• 30 Days Unli 5G (12GB non-5G) – PHP 599
• 30 Days Unli 5G (24GB non-5G) – PHP 799

Note before subscribing that subscribers must have a 5G ready SIM card, a 5G enabled device and must be in these exclusive locations with 5G sites:

• Cavite (Bacoor, Imus, Dasmarinas, Cavite City)
• NCR
• Pampanga (Angeles, Mabalacat, San Fernando)
• Baguio City
• Cebu (Cebu City, Mandaue, Lapu-Lapu, Liloan, Minglanilla)
• Davao City

Moreover, the telco also mentioned that if conditions aren’t met, consumption will be under the volume of extra data (Non-5G data).

This means that as long as the subscribers met the conditions mentioned above, they are eligible for unlimited data. On the other hand, in cases that they are not under a 5G network, they will be consuming the “Non-5G data” allocation. The 7 Days Unli 5G (PHP 299) has 3GB, the 30 Days Unli 5G (PHP 599) has 12GB, while the 30 Days Unli 5G (PHP 799) has 24GB.

take note, you need a smart certified 5g device. not just a 5g enabled device. otherwise, it will consume the extra data. i learned this through experience. one out of four csr of smart knows this. so yeah, wasted 600 pesos because of this.

I met 3 condition, 5G sim, 5G phone, 5G location (makati bel-air) but they used my non-unli data, sometimes no internet, 5G signal and unli. Poco M3 5G phone is not registered in their list (according to customer support). WTF there’s no need to register the phone if it can connect to their network, they know, no one will buy their 16K rocket wifi haha. customer support said, i need to go to smart physical store to register my device, why? hahaha in the end GOMO 5G with limited speed still the better deal.
