The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 that may launch this year already has a successor in the works. As suggested by leaks, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset is said to have a massive performance jump compared to the Gen 3 chip.
According to a reliable leaker, Tech_Reve from Twitter, the user has pointed out that Qualcomm is mass-producing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 in an improved 3nm process, the N3E, of TSMC.
Revegnus has also suggested that this chipset will have a multi-core performance and has the potential to dethrone the Apple M2. While the Gen 3’s GPU is rumored to run at 900MHz, the Gen 4 has a 40% performance leap versus its predecessor.
