Sony has released two new cameras: the Alpha 7C II and the Alpha 7CR. These are new additions to the company’s Alpha 7C Series of full-frame mirrorless cameras that are compact and lightweight. Now, they’re even more compact and lighter than their predecessors.

Alpha 7C II
The Sony Alpha 7C II packs a punch with its full-frame back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor boasting 33 megapixels, coupled with the latest BIONZ XR image processing engine for unparalleled imaging performance.
Weighing only approximately 698 grams, it is up to 22% lighter and has up to 45% less volume compared to the Alpha 7 IV, making it the perfect companion for capturing high-quality still images or movies in various settings, including travel and daily snapshots.
And with a standard ISO range of 100 to 51200 for both still images and movies, and an expanded ISO range of 50 to 204800 for still images, high sensitivity shooting with minimal noise is possible.
Alpha 7CR
Sony’s new Alpha 7CR also features a back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor with an impressive 61-megapixel resolution, along with BIONZ XR image processing.
It is approximately 29% lighter and 53% smaller than the Alpha 7R V.
The camera has a standard ISO sensitivity range of 100 to 32000 for both still images and movies (expandable to 50 to 102400 for still images), 7.0-step optical 5-axis in-body image stabilization, and Pixel Shift Multi Shooting for synthesizing high-resolution images.

The Sony Alpha 7C II starts at USD 2,199.99 for body-only and USD 2,499.99 with included 28-60mm zoom lens.
Meanwhile, the Alpha 7CR is priced at USD 2,999.99.
