Sony has announced their new addition to their full-frame mirrorless camera lineup, the A7 III(model ILCE-7M3).
The A7 III features a 24.2MP back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS image sensor with 15 stops of dynamic range at low sensitivities, AF coverage of 93%, fast shooting up to 10fps, and 4K video capabilities. Sony also added 4D FOCUS consisting of 425 contrast AF points that work with a 693-point focal-plane phase-detection AF system inherited from the acclaimed A9 model.

The Sony A7 III Full-frame Interchangeable Lens Camera will ship this April for about $2,000 US for the body and $2,200 in a kit with the FE 28?70 mm F3.5?5.6 kit lens. In Canada, it will be sold for $2,600 CA for the body and $2,800 in a kit with the FE 28?70 mm F3.5?5.6 lens. The camera and kits will be sold at a variety of Sony authorized dealers throughout North America.
