Sony Philippines is ready to party this rainy season as they release not one, not two, but five new home audio systems.
The new speakers are divided into two options — all-in-one box style and 3-box. For the all-in-one box style we have the following models:
For the 3-box we have the following models:
The all-in-one box style speakers are, as the name implies, a single powerful audio system. They actually look more circular than boxy and can easily stand-out in any room. While these speakers have no accompanying tweeters or subwoofers they do offer 360-degree LIVE SOUND (MHC-V81D) and LIVE SOUND (MHC-V71D) features.
Features that Sony claims provide high-quality music output. These models also come with spread sound generator4, which aims to mimic surround sound by providing loud and powerful audio outputs. Other than that we have improved guitar input mode, gesture control, TAIKO mode (converts the speaker into a virtual drum), and the Party King feature.
Sony has implemented a sort of “Party Ranking” with their Party King feature, allowing users to connect to their social media networks to inform their peers they’re having a party. The more parties you throw, the higher your ranking goes. This is all possible thanks to the “Fiestable” mobile app, which makes use of that Party King feature. Party Chain, where you can link up to 50 compatible speaker systems together, is also possible through Bluetooth
The MHC-M40D and MHC-M60D 3-box models are your common styled audio systems — A main control unit paired with two speakers. It offers support for sources such as CDs, DVDs, HDMI out, USB, Bluetooth, Mic, and even guitars. The speakers also have the Party King feature and can be linked together with other supported Party Chain speakers via Bluetooth.
All of these speakers are now available at Sony authorized retailers and concept stores nationwide.
