Sony showcases new VAIO T13

Another touch-enabled Windows 8 ultrabook has made its public appearance, this time coming from Sony. But instead of coming up with a totally different hardware, the Japanese company decided to just revamp the VAIO T13 and add touchscreen functionality.

The design remained pretty much the same as the non-touchscreen model. However, having a touchscreen functionality made the machine slightly thicker (1mm) and added a little bulk (100g) to it.

The Sony VAIO T13’s price is pegged at £1’000 for the 256GB and 8GB RAM config while the 500GB Hybrid and 4GB model will retail for £900 when it hit the shelves starting the 26th of this month.
