Sony recently announced the removal of Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store, offering a full refund to all gamers who purchased the said game.
The company has released a statement on its official website about the removal of Cyberpunk 2077. Check out the announcement below.
“SIE strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, therefore we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store. SIE will also be removing Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store until further notice.
Once we have confirmed that you purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store, we will begin processing your refund. Please note that completion of the refund may vary based on your payment method and financial institution.”
To recall, Cyberpunk 2077 was released on December 10 after a series of delays. After its release, the game developer CD Projekt RED has received criticisms due to Cyberpunk 2077’s performance on last-generation consoles, in which players have experienced game-breaking bugs and glitches. The developer then issued an apology statement indicating to fix bugs and crashes and improve the overall experience.
The game will no longer be available on the PlayStation Store until further notice.
