New Alpha 7C Series Cameras
More content producers are searching for mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras that combine compact size and great imaging capability as the demand for sending and sharing captured content on social media networks (SNS) has grown. Sony answers to the variety of picture expressions sought after by creators with the debut of the Alpha 7C II and Alpha 7CR, which accomplish great mobility and high-quality image expression in a compact size.

Alpha 7C II: For Stills, Movies, and the Creator in You
The second-generation Alpha 7C II is known for its performance and feature-packed small design that makes it ideal for a variety of shooting situations, including travel and street photography.

The latest BIONZ XR® image processing engine and a full-frame back-illuminated Exmor R® CMOS sensor with about 33.0 effective megapixels are both included in this camera to deliver exceptional imaging performance. Users can quickly take advantage of high-quality image capture in a variety of scenarios, including travel and daily snapshots, for either still images or movies.

The Alpha 7C II offers a volume reduction of up to 45% and a weight reduction of up to 22% when compared to the Alpha 7 IV. For both still photos and movies, standard ISO sensitivities vary from 100 to 51200, allowing for high sensitivity and noise-free photography.

Alpha 7CR: Unparalleled Resolution in a Compact and Lightweight Body
The Alpha 7CR, another entry in the series, is a brand-new compact full-frame interchangeable lens camera that packs a full-size image sensor with roughly 61.0 effective megapixels—the same sensor as the Alpha 7R V—into a small, lightweight body. It also boasts high resolution and rich gradation performance.

It accomplishes high-quality image capture in a range of situations, such as portrait, wildlife, and landscape photography, in addition to daily snapshots, by fusing mobility and low weight with extremely high resolution image capture.

To achieve high-resolution and high-definition imaging capabilities, it is outfitted with Pixel Shift Multi Shooting, a full-frame back-illuminated Exmor R® CMOS sensor with about 61.0 effective megapixels, and the most recent BIONZ XR® image processing engine. The Alpha 7CR is about 29% lighter and has about 53% less volume when compared to the Alpha 7R V.

For both still photos and videos, the standard ISO sensitivity spans from 100 to 32000. Even modest blurring at the 1-pixel level is detected and rectified in addition to the 7.0-step optical 5-axis in-body picture stabilization.

You may shoot comfortably and steadily even when using a telephoto lens or a lengthy exposure time by pairing it with the grip extender GP-X2 that is provided with the Alpha 7CR.

The BIONZ XR® processors and AI-processing unit used in Sony’s most recent interchangeable lens cameras, including the Alpha 7R V and Alpha 6700, are present in both models. A wide range of subjects are accurately recognized by Real-time Recognition AF, and 5-axis in-body image stabilization offers a seven-step shooting advantage while taking still pictures. The Alpha 7C II and Alpha 7CR can generate high-quality 4K video and can condense and compress high-resolution and detailed video data equivalent to 7K and 6K, respectively, in terms of video performance. Furthermore, for rich cinematic video, both models embrace Sony’s renowned S-Cinetone color technology. In-body image stabilization in Active Mode, AI-based Auto Framing, support for digital audio interfaces, and other capabilities that enable the capture of high-quality video are also included.

Lens G-Master FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM II: Speed and Performance
The FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM II fits the demands of photographers and videographers looking for high-performance lenses, and with the descriptive power and high-speed AF (autofocus) specific to G Master™, it is possible to completely highlight the excellent performance of our sophisticated camera bodies.

World’s smallest and lightest high-resolution F2.8 wide-angle zoom lens
The FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM II provides exceptional resolution with a maximum aperture of F2.8 throughout the zoom range thanks to a unique optical design that efficiently arranges the extremely high surface precision XA (extreme aspherical) lens. Furthermore, Sony’s unique Nano AR Coating II reduces flares and ghosting to capture clean images even when a powerful light source enters the frame. With a total length of 111.5mm and a weight of roughly 547g, this wide-angle zoom lens is the smallest and lightest in the world and 20% smaller than the previous edition.

Extraordinarily fast and precise AF that brings out the best in advanced bodies
The FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM II is equipped with the most recent XD (extreme dynamic) linear motors, which are capable of high-speed drive. It is up to twice as quick as conventional versions and provides a quiet AF that is ideal for both still photographs and movies. High-speed, high-precision, and quiet focusing are all made feasible when used with the 1 camera body, allowing for continuous shooting at speeds of up to 30 frames per second.

Operability and reliability for comfortable shooting of both still images and movies
The FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM II offers exceptional still image and movie shooting performance that satisfies the demands of advanced amateur and professional users. In comparison to earlier models, it is feasible to produce high-quality image expression without changes in the angle of view by decreasing focus breathing during video recording. You can shoot comfortably with a gimbal since it also prevents the center of gravity’s movement while zooming and makes stable shooting possible.

Aperture rings that can be turned on or off with a switch and two focus hold buttons that can be programmed with a specific purpose from the camera body are examples of features that have increased operability.

The front lens has been coated with fluorine to make it easier to clean off dirt that has adhered to the lens surface. You may use the camera safely even outside thanks to its dustproof and splashproof construction, which gives you more creative freedom when taking pictures.
