Sony has announced its newest addition to the 1000X series, the WF-1000XM4 Truly Wireless Headphones.
The Sony WF-1000XM4 is equipped with 6mm drivers, a V1 processor, and two noise-sensing microphones—one feed-forward and one feed-back. It connects via Bluetooth 5.2, supports High-Resolution Audio wireless, DSEE Extreme, and has a transfer rate of 990kbps. On the other hand, its 20% increase in magnet volume gives users high-precision noise cancellation with a low-frequency range as advertised by Sony. Furthermore, it is IPX4 rated and comes in Silver and Black color options.
According to Sony, the WF-1000XM4 is expected to give 8 hours of continuous music playback with noise-canceling turned on; if it is turned off, it extends to 12 hours of playback. Furthermore, with the inclusion of its case, battery life extends to 16 hours, and it charges via USB Type-C.
The Sony WF-1000XM4 is priced at USD 279.99 and is available in the US, but will make its way to the Philippines soon.
