Starting with the revamped design of the Sony WH-1000XM5, it has a soft fit leather together with other synthetic soft materials which can fit comfortably around a person’s head while easing some pressure off a person’s ears while still doing its job in blocking that unwanted noise.

In terms of battery life, when the noise cancelling is on, you can expect up to 24hrs of continuous communication time, while up to 32hrs if the noise cancelling is disabled. But when it comes to continuous music playback time, users can expect up to 30hrs if the noise cancelling is enabled and up to 40hrs if it’s turned off. The total charging time of the headphone is an estimated 3.5 hours.

For the other general features, the detachable cord has a length of around 3.94ft, a gold-plated L-shaped stereo mini plug, touch-sensitive volume control and is worn over-ear.
The outcome of the new Sony WH-1000XM5 is an improved level of distraction-free listening if a person wants to concentrate on their work or unwind on a trip.
