Spotify Offline Backup feature rolled out

Spotify Offline Backup 13 is now being rolled out, saving songs without the need for users to download them. This should be great for when users forget to download songs or playlists before leaving the house.

Of course, this feature works on its own so long as the user is a Spotify Premium subscriber. Plus, the offline backup automatically makes a playlist of songs you’ve listened to that’s available on your device.

The songs include your recently streamed, queued, and cached tracks on your device. Users may filter and sort the songs in the playlist by artist, mood, and genre as well. Spotify Offline Backup will adapt to your listening habits, promising to have something convenient or new for its users.

Another great use for this is for when the user is in an area with no Wi-Fi or signal. It lets users always have something to listen to. The feature doesn’t use extra data or storage either, since it works with cached tracks.

This feature is rolling out for Spotify Premium users globally on both Android and iOS. It should appear automatically on the platform’s home page whenever you’re offline.

Just make sure you have offline listening enabled with more than five songs listened to recently. Users can also add Offline Backup to your music library to easily find it otherwise.
