Spotify has launched this year’s Spotify Wrapped. Aside from letting listeners see what their listening habits have been like in 2019, Spotify also added the songs and artists that defined a listener’s decade.
Spotify Wrapped includes the songs, albums, artists, and podcasts users have discovered and listened to through the years. Spotify will also be showing them where their top artists are from on a world map. Spotify users who’ve had their accounts for more than two years will get a personalized recap, showing their top artist, total minutes streamed throughout the decade, as well as their top song. Spotify premium users will also have access to additional data, including the number of artists they discovered and top artists they found this year.
All Spotify users (premium or free) will be able to share their “2019 Wrapped” or “My Decade Wrapped” to other social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, or Snapchat. These are a summary of their top tracks, artists, and genre based on their listening history.
This year, both artists and podcasters may also check how their music and podcasts connected to listeners all around the world in the new “2019 Artist Wrapped” and “2019 Podcaster Wrapped.” All they need are three listeners before the 31st of October to have their own Wrapped experience. They will also get access to data that includes where their listeners are from, total fan hours streamed, the highest number of fans per hour, and the percentage increase in followers and other metrics. Both artist and podcaster Wrapped are also sharable to social media.
