Starlink hikes price of Starter Kit and Monthly Service

Space X informed directly its Starlink users of the impending price hike. With this being said, it’ll affect the whole service of Starlink and customers will certainly not be pleased, especially those who want to try Starlink’s offer.

Based on Starlink’s email “Due to excessive levels of inflation, the price of the Starlink kit is increasing from $499 to $549 for deposit holders, and $599 for all new orders, effective today. In addition, the Starlink monthly service price will increase from $99 to $110. The new price will apply to your subscription on 5/11/2022.”

Blaming the market inflation as the cause for the price increase, Space X reminds its users that the service can be canceled anytime. For those who want a refund, the company can issue a partial refund of $200 for those who can return their Starlink device.

Space X didn’t mention any possible rollback of prices if the inflation ceases as of this time.
