Synology recently hosted its Solution Day 2024 in Manila, drawing over 500 IT professionals to explore the latest enterprise-level data storage, management, and security innovations. The event highlighted scalable storage solutions, a dedicated backup appliance with advanced security features, flexible AI-powered video surveillance options, and productivity tools designed to enhance business resilience.
Claire Huang, Synology’s Country Manager for the Philippines, noted the company’s impressive growth in the local market over the past three years, particularly in industries such as manufacturing, government, and retail.

Attendees also heard success stories from Toyota Vietnam and SLC Group Thailand, showcasing how these companies have integrated Synology’s solutions into their operations.
Among the innovations unveiled were the ActiveProtect series, which supports multi-server environments and provides strong ransomware protection, and the GS series, which offers high-capacity, non-disruptive scale-out storage.
Synology also introduced its C2 Surveillance Station, a cloud-based video surveillance solution with edge AI for secure and efficient monitoring.
The event also showcased updates to Synology’s Office Suite, featuring new GenAI tools aimed at boosting team collaboration and streamlining workflows.
