TCL has officially unveiled its latest addition to the 50-series lineup, the TCL 505, as it appears on the company’s website. Sporting a design reminiscent of its predecessors, the TCL 505 offers users a familiar aesthetic.
At the heart of the TCL 505 is a 6.75-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. The screen also incorporates TCL’s NxtVision reflection-free coating, designed to filter blue light and achieve a maximum brightness of 400 nits.
Under the hood, the TCL 505 is powered by a Helio G35 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable via a microSD card slot. On the rear panel, users will find a 50MP primary camera with a 1/2.55-inch sensor boasting 0.7μm pixels, accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the device is equipped with a 5MP front-facing camera.
Operating on Android 14, the TCL 505 is fueled by a substantial 5,010mAh battery which supports 10W charging. Available in Ocean Blue and Space Grey color options, TCL has not yet disclosed pricing details but is expected to do so in the near future.
