The TECNO CAMON 30 Series is getting 3 years of software updates and security patches.
The brand confirmed this on their global Facebook page 39, noting that the series is slated to get 3 years of updates and 36 months of security patches.
In actuality, the newly-released smartphones should only be set for 2 major Android updates until Android 16 arrives. Meanwhile, the security patches should come on a quarterly basis.
The announcement shows TECNO’s commitment to these devices, which has not been shown to other phones prior. It’s not as future-proofed in comparison to Samsung’s Galaxy A-series phones, but it’s a good sign.
It’s been a week since the TECNO CAMON 30 Series has been released and priced in the Philippines 69. How have you guys felt about the newly-released smartphones? Let us know in the comment section below!
