TECNO devotes itself into a more inclusive camera technology

TECNO has partnered with BBC StoryWorks to create a short film, The Future Lens: Looking Ahead with TECNO about how mobile cameras provide inclusive mobile camera technologies to local consumers.

TECNO envisions a world where inclusive phone design, which means a phone designed with everyone in mind, can help form communities, connect people with one another and ensure no one is left behind. In the film, TECNO shows why portrait imaging is its most ground-breaking technology and how it has empowered users of darker skin tones to realize all possibilities of expression.

TECNO has developed and innovated their mobile cameras in order to resolve the technical challenges regarding exposure, colors, and hues in portrait photography. The company said that they have innovated to increase light intake, and use an enormous database that covers 7 skin types across 76 skin categories.

In the company’s TECNO TAIVOS Camera Lab, the company used more than 3,000 local samples with approximately 6,120 evaluation scenarios spanning 115 countries that enable their camera lab team to focus on the localized ethnic research, social aesthetic ideology and aesthetic preference research, so as to make the experience conform to the localized trends.

“The future Lens is the world without limit. Technology should include everyone and let us to be our true selves, instead of being depicted through a subjective lens . I believe that it should be the mission of humans to create the technology that is more understanding and inclusive of all of us.” said Li Jiangtao, Senior Director of TECNO Imaging Product and head of TECNO TAIVOS™ Camera Lab.

TECNO says that the brand’s continuous innovations and its initiatives to develop cameras are part of their efforts to create the inclusive future that they want to create and is line with it’s brand slogan to “Stop at Nothing”.

The commercial series will air from January 4 to February 8, 2022. It will include a thirty-second version airing on the BBC World News South Asia Feed and BBC World News Africa feed, as well as a full version on the branded content hub hosted on BBC.com.

For TECNO, more inclusive camera technology is an incredible step forward, they are great guys, to be honest, I have been following them for a long time and have been waiting for this update.
In today’s world, in order to maintain a leading position in the markets, it is very important to present new and updated products to customers on a regular basis.
In addition, I recommend you a useful source in my profile, where you can read a lot of thematic materials about technologies, their pros and cons, their role in the modern world and individual areas, prospects and a lot of interesting things for everyone.
