Tecno has recently introduced an innovative concept phone that is capturing the imagination of the tech industry, the Tecno Phantom Ultimate, this rollable concept device pushes the boundaries of what horizontally expandable gadgets can do.
The phone distinguishes itself with a remarkable rollable display that, in just about 1.2 to 1.3 seconds, can extend from a 6.55-inch smartphone screen to an impressive 7.11-inch mini-tablet. This transformation is powered by a single-drive motor system situated at the top right corner of the device.
But there’s more. In its rolled state, the Phantom Ultimate remains conveniently compact, featuring an Always-On Display on its back side. Moving on to its technical specifications, the device sports a 7.11-inch On-cell LTPO AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2,296 x 1,596 pixels and a pixel density of 388 PPI.
Supporting 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, the Phantom Ultimate is set to deliver unmatched visual experiences. However, it’s important to note that these astonishing specs are still part of the concept stage and have yet to be confirmed.
Tecno hasn’t overlooked the device’s usability either. The concept phone has a slim profile at 9.93mm, ensuring it fits comfortably in one’s hand.
