The TECNO Pocket Go, a Windows gaming PC controller fused with a pair of augmented reality (AR) glasses, finally becomes available to the public.
The controller itself is the gaming PC and the AR glasses, namely the Pocket Vision, serves as a display monitor that can project as big as a 215-inch screen from six meters away. It sports a 0.71-inch micro-OLED screen.
Under the hood, the Pocket Go is equipped with up to AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS CPU with AMD Radeon 780M integrated graphics. It comes in two configurations of either 16+512GB or the maxed-out 32+1TB option.
It features a thermal cooling system, a hot-swappable 50Wh battery, and 65W GaN charging.
Users can expect a “6D” gaming experience with the handheld gaming PC controller and AR glasses with head tracking, adaptive posture, spatial sound, and precise haptics.
The TECNO Pocket Go previously graced the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona earlier in February this year. And according to Tecno’s timeline, it will begin shipping in December 2024.
