Tecno’s Spark lineup welcomes a new addition: the TECNO 832 Spark 20 Pro+ 282. This device sits at the top of the series, sporting a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, a MediaTek G99 processor (with an intriguing “Ultimate” moniker), and the latest Android 14 operating system.
While the MediaTek G99 Ultimate chipset is unheard of, Tecno did mention its specifications: two Cortex-A76 cores at 2.2GHz alongside six Cortex-A55 cores and a Mali-G57 MC2 graphics unit.
These specs align perfectly with the regular MediaTek Helio G99 chip. And the extent of the G99 Ultimate’s advantage to its regular counterpart remains to be seen.
This one also boasts a ‘Dynamic Port,’ a feature inspired by Apple’s Dynamic Island that showcases lively animations of certain stats on its punch-hole notch.
Compared to the regular Pro version with an 8.40mm depth, the Pro+ variant has a slimmer profile, measuring at just 7.55mm.
