TECNO tops TikTok Shop 7.7 sale, poised to become #1 in major e-commerce platforms

TECNO captured the number one spot in smartphone sales and earned recognition as a Sales Champion during the 7.7 sale at the TikTok Shop Philippines.

Brand ambassador Joshua Garcia and top-ranked online gamer Akosi Dogie led a successful live shopping session, where they teamed up for the first time in TECNO Philippines’ TikTok’s inaugural participation in a TikTok Shop sale.

The live shopping format, dubbed as “shoppertainment,” helped TECNO achieve the number one spot after ranking third in smartphone sales at the start of the sale. TECNO also reached another milestone with 700,000 subscribers on its TikTok platform.

TECNO’s competitive efforts in e-commerce platforms have not only conquered TikTok Shop Philippines but also Shopee Philippines and Lazada Philippines. In both platforms, TECNO was ranked number three in two categories – GMV and Orders/Sales during the 7.7 sale.

Furthermore, Shopee recognized TECNO’s achievement by granting the company a Shopee 2023 E-Commerce New Star Brand Award this month.

TECNO continues to explore new ways of reaching the public, providing affordable, cutting-edge smartphones across all markets. Starting in July, TECNO Philippines’ TikTok will have daily live shopping sessions, and they will have monthly big sale events that offer discounts and other surprise promos to customers.

Recently, TECNO, together with the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation, Inc., launched the ICONIC Philippines CAMON 20 Pro Series Photography Contest, where participants have the chance to win a TECNO CAMON 20 Pro 5G and up to PhP50,000 in prizes.

These recent achievements by TECNO in e-commerce have positioned itself as a serious contender in the Philippine’s smartphone industry.
