Tensorbook Laptop for Machine learning now official

The recent team-up of Razer with Lambda (a deep learning-focused company) resulted in the launching of a laptop designer for deep learning developers called Lambda TensorBook. The laptop proudly produces amazing figures in terms of machine learning performance.

Tensorbook

The 2021 Razer Blade 15 seems to be the basis for the TensorBook. The laptop sports an Intel Core i7-11800H CPU with an improved GPU of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q with 16GB of GDDR6 memory. It also has a 1TB SSD and 64GB of RAM.

In terms of Display, it’s not the top-tier that you’re expecting but not bad for the 15.6-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440) resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. For the ports, it has the usual two Thunderbolt 4 ports, three USB Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, a full-size SD card reader and a combo audio jack.

The Razer x Lambda TensorBook features an Ubuntu Linux 20.04 LTS pre-installed, with Lambda Stack deep learning suite and tools including PyTorch, Tensorflow, CUDA, and cuDNN all pre-installed so your tools are ready for those machine learning workloads. If you prefer a Windows OS, you have an option to choose a laptop in a dual boot configuration.

The price of the Razer x Lambda TensorBook today starts at USD 3,499. If you intend to upgrade, it’ll only include Windows dual-boot support and premium support from Lambda.
