Tesla has showed their first batch of Cybertrucks being delivered in their event.
The Cybertruck has a stainless-steel body and armor glass that is able to withstand a Class 4 hail. Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk, has stated that the doors are bulletproof to 9 milimeter and .45 caliber rounds.
The vehicle can run from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 2.6 seconds as Musk shows a video of the Cybertruck outsped a Porche 911. The truck has up to 11,000 pounds of towing capacity.
The base version of the Cybertruck can travel around 250 miles while the “Cyberbeast” models can go up to 320 and 340 miles. According to Musk, the “Cyberbeast” variants can have an optional range extender, but takes up about a third of the vehicle’s bed.
The Cybertruck has a 6-foot long bed with extra storage underneath and at the front. It has 120 volt and 240 volt outlets in the bed and cabin for its tools, charge EVs or even give power up to 11.5 kilowatt.
The Cybertruck has a price of USD 49,890 for the Rear-Wheel Drive version (250 mi), USD 68,890 for the All-Wheel Drive variant (340 mi), and USD 96,390 for the Cyberbeast model (320 mi).
