The government has a brilliant idea to reduce traffic by half…

It is obvious that the current Number Coding Scheme by the MMDA is no longer working as heavy traffic has become a daily routine for millions of commuters in Metro Manila.

A number of solutions have been implemented by MMDA to remedy the incessant problems — MRT Bus, Zipper Line, MRT Beeps Cards, exclusive roads for trucks, as well as expanding the Number Coding Scheme. All that has not been very effective or almost insignificant if at all.

The latest idea, suggested by no other than Pres. Aquino, is to implement the Odd-Even Scheme.

The way I see this, the most radical solution would be t implement an odd-even scheme based on the license plate numbers of vehicles. Traffic flow will surely ease up, because half of the vehicles would vanish from the streets). – Pres. Aquino

We believe there is a more efficient way to de-congest EDSA but what the government is looking is an immediate and clear-cut execution that has an effect, regardless if it is palatable to the driving public.

  1. PNoy u still owe me my drivers licsence card and two new plate for 2 cars which were paid and registered on time all this because the one u appointed to handle LTO was busy doing rounds in the casino and the new guy is not doing any better.
Now odd even nman serosyo ka ba, di kami tulad ng uncle m n si Danding n madami kotse ( awsome car collection btw )

Mahiya ka sa Legacy ng tatay mo Noynoy ur such an incompetent president.
Ur Dad will be very very upset abt how u and ur idiotic circus u call a cabinet is running things. Thanks for nothing.

    • Since the primary objective of traffic management is to speed up the flow of vehicles on the road, there are three solutions. First, decongest the roadnetwork. The most idiotic way to implement this is the odd/even scheme, which could only come from someone whose mental capacity cannot go beyond the average.
.Second, expand the road network in the country. Kung di na sapat ang at-grade space available for new roads, palawakin ang skyway network. Of course pwede rin mag-expropriate.

  5. wow.. the title is so sarcastic..LOL

  9. Reduce traffic by half of those who can only afford one car.

Merong middle class 1 car per family lang ang kaya and very important sa everyday life like hatid buong family into school and work.

Yung multi-car people, change car lang.

    • I think damay din yung multiple car families. I know one family who has 5 cars, one for each member (3 kids, mom and dad). They use all 5 every day. Basically odd-even scheme will reduce their usage by half.

Galing ano!!!

Di mo naisip? Meron naman shifting ng pasok. Yung iba papasok ng 7am, yung iba papasok ng 9am. At saliwa din ang uwian. At di mo kailangan ng Odd-Even dito.
