The Ulefone Armor Pad 4 Ultra Thermal 10 has been unveiled. This is the world’s first 5G rugged tablet that features built-in thermal imaging.
The tablet has a 10.36-inch IPS LCD panel protected by Corning Gorilla glass. Powering this is a MediaTek Dimensity 6300, ensuring consistent performance even with heavy computing.
It also comes with 8GB of RAM (+8GB via virtual memory expansion) and 256GB of internal storage. While it only has 256GB of internal storage, worry not. The device supports microSD cards up to 2TB for those who need the space.
One of its key features is its integrated thermal imaging model from ThermoVue. The thermal vision has a 160 x 120 resolution and a refresh rate of 25Hz. It provides smooth, accurate thermal imaging for work or outdoor activities.
Plus, users can also use the ThermoVue App to capture images and videos to make time-lapse sequences. It’s nice for monitoring temperature changes in real-time, making it ideal for electrical inspections, firefighting, etc.
The device will run on Android 14 out of the box, and packs a 11,800mAh battery. It supports up to 33W of fast charging via USB Type-C. In addition, it has an HDMI port, a 3.5mm audio port, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and face unlock.
The Ulefone Armor Pad 4 Ultra Thermal is launching on October 1st, priced at USD 329.99 (~PHP 18.5K). It should be a great find for those who want a feature-packed rugged tablet.
