The UMIDIGI G9 5G was unveiled in Hong Kong at the 2024 Global Sources Mobile Electronics show.
This smartphone sports a 6.75-inch LCD with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It’s powered by the Unisoc T765 chipset, equipped with an octa-core CPU clocking up to 2.3GHz. For configs, the phone comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The G9 5G also boasts a triple-shooter setup. This consists of a 50MP main camera, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensor. Up front, it’s equipped with a 8MP selfie shooter as well.
For battery, the smartphone surprisingly packs a 5,000mAh battery despite its thin 7.9mm body. But for other features, it’s still unclear what version of Android the phone runs on.
Further specs aren’t detailed just yet on UMIDIGI’s official website 22. However, it was revealed that the phone is priced at USD 99.99 (PHP 5,760.52).
Considering what the phone offers at its price point, UMIDIGI just presented an insanely thrifty find for the entry-level segment.
Also, we’ve yet to find out if the UMIDIGI G9 5G will be made available in other countries. But as always, we’ll let our readers know of any further developments in smartphone releases.
