Unihertz is bringing a new addition to its Jelly Series, the Unihertz Jelly Max, which the company is touting as the ‘smallest 5G smartphone’.
In a shared image, we can see the phone’s display sporting a hole punch notch aligned on the top left corner.
The screen also shows a fingerprint icon, so it might get an under-display fingerprint scanner. The presence of a fingerprint icon suggests the possibility of an under-display fingerprint scanner, which is often found in OLED panels.
Compared to a standard keyboard layout, we can expect the phone to be the size of an iPhone SE (2022) 15 at least at 4 to 5-inches diagonally. This is quite a jump from the Unihertz Jelly Star 69 that only measured 3-inches diagonally.
As of writing, other details are kept under wraps, but we can expect the phone to boast a 5G-enabled chipset.
Related reports claim that the Jelly Max has yet to secure various certifications needed for them to legally sell the phone in certain markets. With that, we can expect it to launch later down the line.
