Victory Liner offering Android tablets to passengers

Victory Liner, Inc., one of the largest provincial bus companies in the country, is offering free use of Android tablets for on-board passengers of their deluxe buses.

Currently, the offer is for deluxe buses going to Baguio (fare is Php715USD 12INR 1,033EUR 12CNY 89, if you need to know) with 20 Android tablets available per bus. So far we didn’t receive any info about the type of tablets being offered and if VL will be offering this to other destinations. Travel time from Manila to Baguio usually takes five hours, and with a tablet on hand, that’s a fairly good dose of Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja if you ask me.

galing..sana ang mga bus satin (metro&provincial) ay mag-install na rin ng mga libreng hotspot para may magamit ang mga pasahero pag traffic.

may wifi onboard ang victory liner buses matagal na. pati ilang provincial buses na bumbyahe panorth meron. 3g modem na may wifi ang gamit nila.

ang problem lang po sa metro pag nagkaroon ng hotspot yung mga bus lalo mang gigil yung mga snatchers. kung wala lang masasamang loob ang sarap sana maglabas ng mga gadgets habang bumabiyahe ka.

Ang RRCG/Greenstar nagooffer ng free wifi, kaso nakakatakot pa rin kasi baka kapag nilabas ko ang phone ko baka nakawin. Sa tingin ko suitable lang to for very long trips. pero sana mangyari rin to sa mga metro manila buses!
